Varied Auction And Concert Planned In Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK — On Saturday, October 7, Hillside Covenant Church will host two events to which the public is invited.

The first is an auction, featuring some items over 100 years old, other items from the 1950s and 1960s, vintage electronics, and much more. Viewing begins at 11:30 am, with the bidding starting at 1 pm.

The second event is a concert, featuring The Alleluia Players under the direction of Norman Hanenbaum. The Alleluia Players is a group of seven instrumentalists and vocalists with disabilities who perform throughout the state of Connecticut.

The group was organized initially in 1972 through the Office for the Handicapped of the Archdiocese of Hartford. Donations will be accepted for the concert, which begins at 7 pm.
