Electric Restructuring: What Consumers Need To Know
Newtown Womanâs Club, GFWC, Inc., will host a presentation on electric competition at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library on Tuesday, September 26, at 1 pm.
The meeting will be open to the public. The presentation will deliver information that is critical for the consumer to know and understand before electricity enters the competitive marketplace. The program will cover standard offer, aggregators, brokers, and marketers, as well as other electric restructuring topics, all aimed at helping consumers in Connecticut deal with the coming choice in electricity providers.
Guest speakers will be Donna Devino and Joe Wood, consumer education developers with the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control
