Beginning The Season

WASHINGTON — Armstrong Chamber Concerts (ACC) will present its first concert in Washington on Saturday, October 7, at 5 pm, at First Congregational Church.

Violinist Helen Armstrong, founder and artistic director of ACC, will be performing with pianist Randall Hodgkinson; Louise Schulman, viola; Gerard Reuter, oboe; and Robert deMaine, cello. They will perform works by Turina, Britten, Martinu and Brahms.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased in advance by calling ACC at 860/868-0522. First Congregational Church is on Route 47.

ACC’s next chamber concert, consisting of works of Mozart, Schubert, Gliere and Dohnanyi, will be on November 11.
