Winterset Ski Club

The Winterset Ski Club will hold its annual picnic on Sunday, September 21 (rain or shine), at the Meadows Shelter at Hop Brook Lake in Middlebury. All members and prospective members are welcome.

The picnic will begin at 1 pm with food being served at approximately 2:30 pm. The club supplies the wine, beer, soda, hot dogs and hamburgers. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert, main dish or salad.  Call Julie Farrell at 775-3158 if you are interested in attending or helping. Julie is also organizing the sports and games – badminton, horseshoes, baseball (bring your bats and gloves) and yard games for the kids.

Tables will be set up for members to renew their memberships and for new members to join the club.  Bulk buy ticket information will be available and trip leaders will be on hand with details on this year’s planned trips. A new “Swap Board” (restricted to members only and non-commercial ads) will be available for anyone wishing to post an ad for anything related to the ski season – i.e., used equipment, condo rentals.
