Parent Connection

A grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness concerning substance abuse. The year kicks off with “Dare to Discuss Drugs,” a presentation by nationally renowned substance abuse expert, John Hamilton, September 24, 7–9 pm in the Newtown Middle School auditorium.

Hope Support Group

Support group for parents of children involved with substance abuse. The group meets Mondays, 7:30–9:30 pm in the Parents’ Corner.

 

Mom’s Support Groups Forming Now!

Groups run for ten weeks by professional staff. Each week a different topic will be discussed. All groups meet in the Parents’ Corner of NYS. There is a $20 registration fee. (The fee will be waived for whomever this causes a hardship). Call NYS at 270-4335 to sign up and we will send you a registration form.
