Hit The Guardrail

Roshan Jhunta, 25, of Monroe, was charged with failure to drive right after 1990 Nissan 3002X struck 50 feet of guardrail on Toddy Hill Road at 6:10 am on September 14. Jhunta told police he swerved to avoid a southbound vehicle.

Near The Diner

Walter S. Gallagher, Jr, 40, of 5 Owl Ridge Lane, was driving a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country minivan on Church Hill Road at 8:50 pm on September 15 when he turned to drive into the Blue Colony Diner. His vehicle struck a 1998 Hyundai Allant driven by Therese Stants, 20, of Bethel, who was in the right turn only lane. Gallagher was given a written warning for making an unsafe lane change.
