Anna B. Zitnay

Anna B. Zitnay, age 87, wife of Marshall F. Zitnay of Hanover Road, Newtown, died September 15 in Danbury Hospital.

Mrs Zitnay was born in Stratford, March 7, 1916, a daughter of the late John and Mary Basista. She has been a resident of Newtown for 50 years and was a communicant at St Rose of Lima Church.

In addition to her husband of 69 years, Mrs Zitnay is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Chapman of Waterbury; a sister, Marguerite Rogers of Monroe; a grandson, Gregory Hopkins of Stratford; two great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held September 19 from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and in St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
