Gators 16, Newtown Vipers 15 â Ritchie Sandler and Robert Andreotta powered the offense and led the Gators to a win. Ian Kirner played well at first base. For the Vipers, Tim Wilder was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs scored while Stephen Price and Jake Buonocore scored three runs apiece.
Gators 9, Brookfield 5 â Dean Demers was 2-for-2 and Ryan Tita pitched three strong innings to lead the Gators to the win. Jack Kneisel was strong behind the plate.
Gators 20, Brookfield 4 â Ian McWilliams and Ian Kirner pitched well in a win over Brookfield. James Alvarez stole a pair of bases.
Knights 14, Brookfield (#2) 2 â The Knights scored 12 runs on 5 hits in the first two innings and went on to win a four-inning mercy rule game. Kyle Watts and Tim Bloom had base clearing doubles while Colin Morris and Christopher Tenney combined on a two-hitter. Andrew Kelley, Kyle Watts and Nicky Sajovic had outstanding defensive plays for the Knights.
Vipers 5, Knights 4 â Dan Poeltl belted a home run to lead the Vipers to an extra-inning win. Jeffrey Grasso had two hits while Jake Tolson pitched well. For the Knights, Colin Morris, Andrew Kelley and Christopher Tenney pitched well. Connor Blanc had the game tying RBI hit in the sixth inning.
Bluefish 6, Athletics 3 â Stephen Conway belted a game-winning grand slam to lift the Bluefish. Cole Baldino added a key hit as JP Blanco, Kaleb Rowe and Connor Howell pitched well. For the Aâs, Jordyn Buyers and Thomas Johnston were tough on the mound as Sam Langdon and Craig Fabian had key hits powering a rally.
Grandslams 17, Brookfield 11 â Sean Connolly had three hits while Kyle Wilcox and Chad Magoulas had two hits apiece to lead the Grandslams to the win. Gavin Scallon scored three runs. Travis LeBlanc and Wyatt DePuy had fabulous catches to spark the defense.

Orangemen 14, Southbury 7 â Steven Braun (3 runs scored), Brandon Rosenberger (3-for-3), Herlof Sorensen (long double off the fence), Ryan Schmidt (double) and Thomas Santaniello (triple) led the potent Orange offense. Rosenberger held Southbury scoreless for the first two innings and George Zaruba closed the game out with two strong innings of work.
Orangemen 10, Brookfield 0 â Brandon Rosenberger led the charge by hitting two majestic home runs, driving in five runs and pitching two scoreless innings. Matt Hamilton (2-for-2, double), Ryan Schmidt (2-for-2, double off the fence), Herlof Sorensen (2 for 2, double), George Zaruba (2-for-2, bunt single, double) and Kevin Leibold (perfect bunt down third base line) added to the attack.
Orangemen 9, Newtown (#4) 8 â Jon Smolen sparked the Orange offense by going 3-for-3 and scoring two runs and Herlof Sorensen drove in the winning run with a clutch two-out single in the sixth inning. Brandon Rosenberger (3-for-3, 2 doubles) and Ryan Schmidt powered the offense For Newtown #4, Andrew LaMarche played a strong game defensively, Derek Krewson and Mike Kirk had key hits, and Joe Fedak contributed a key hit and a strong pitching performance.
