Bob Walker

A dedication ceremony was held on August 29 at Family Counseling Center to honor Bob Walker, a founding member of the agency. The center is located at 121 Mount Pleasant Road in Newtown.

Promotion Mechanics, Inc. donated $5,000 to the center in honor of the company’s yearly founder’s day event. Mr Walker was recognized for his vision, leadership, hard work and making the dream of affordable mental health services a reality for all.

Present at the dedication were Peg Heetman, the owner of Promotion Mechanics; Ilona Straub and Lou Ann Cardoso, employees of Promotion Mechanics; Family Counseling Center Board of Directors Jim Gaston, Glenn Nanavaty, Ed Kelleher and Bruce Walzak; and Terry Blackmer, LCSW, executive director of Family Counseling Center.
