Saint Raphael’s Lecture Targets Women And Aging

NEW HAVEN — The Hospital of Saint Raphael is sponsoring a free lecture in Shelton on how simple lifestyle changes can help women slow the aging process. Anita Petruzzelli, MD, an attending gynecologist at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, will give the talk on Thursday, September 24, from 6 to 7 pm at the Scinto Auditorium in Shelton.

Dr Petruzzelli will discuss steps women can take to improve health, slow down the aging process and live a longer, happier life. Her presentation will include easy-to-do lifestyle changes, including diet, exercise, and stress reduction.

In addition, she will address the benefits of calcium, Vitamin D and magnesium, and supplements like fish oil. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation and light refreshments will be served.

This lecture is the latest in a year-long series sponsored by the Hospital of Saint Raphael.

Preregistration is suggested; register online at www.srhs.org/education or call 203-789-3905.
