Ready To Be Town Clerk

To the Editor,

The Democratic Town Committee took a lot of care in choosing their candidates.  While we were looking for a candidate for the town clerk position, I realized that what they were looking for was me.  I have the education, technology background, and dedication needed to be a great town clerk.

This is a great opportunity for me to give back to Newtown.  Newtown’s citizens are looking for transparency, enhanced communication, and greater convenience in obtaining information.  This has been one of my strengths throughout my professional career.  I look forward to the opportunity to work with the town’s IT Department and assist them with the requests the citizens are making for enhancements to the town’s website.

A goal of Team Newtown is to improve communication through technology in Newtown.  I have initiated various types of communication using technology for my professional and personal needs.

I have created a website www.voteframpton.com  to enable the citizens of Newtown to learn about me.  I will be updating the website during the campaign.  This website is just a small example of what I can accomplish.

I would like to thank the citizens of Newtown for all the support and enthusiasm I have experienced so far in my campaign.  We gave out more than 1,000 balloons Labor Day.  It was wonderful to bring joy to so many.
