Making A Difference

To the Editor:

I’d like to thank the Newtown residents for donating food and money in the Labor Day Parade to One CAN Make(s) A Difference.

I would also like to thank Karen at Dr Baum’s office for 228 toothbrushes, Barbie at Caring Dental for 84 toothpaste, 12 denture kits and 12 mouthwash, Cathy at Dental Associates for 180 toothbrushes and 72 toothpaste, Rand Whitney for the boxes, Lee Paulsen for letting me help Faith Food, the Hanna Family for the orange truck, every business who donated or posted a flyer, to all of my friends and scouts who helped out on Labor Day from collecting, to selling magnets and sorting the food at the end.

Lastly to my parents. You two have helped out in so many ways; from driving me everywhere, helping me make the banner and at the parade. Thank you!
