A Spirit Of Giving

To the Editor:

I am writing on behalf of the silent auction committee for the recent Kevin’s Community Center fundraiser, Mozart, Merlot & Mums. I would like to thank the generous merchants, businesses, artists, and private residents who graciously donated goods, gift certificates, and in-kind services for our benefit event.

More than 70 donors contributed to the auction in a noteworthy way, each one expressing sincere gratitude for the goodwill that KCC exemplifies. Our supporters are a true testament to the steadfast spirit of giving that makes our town special.

Thank you, Newtown, for sustaining this worthwhile cause. And thank you, Dr Taweh and family, for your extraordinary vision of a free medical clinic that speaks to the humanitarian in each of us. I am honored to be a part of this outstanding organization.
