A Loss To The Party And Council

To the Editor:

Pierre Rochman resigned from the Legislative Council and the Republican Party last week. In our opinion it was a great loss to both the council and the party.

As residents of District One, we have always been grateful to have Mr Rochman represent us on the Legislative Council as a member and as chairman.

We extend our thanks to Mr Rochman for his long years of service to the town. Surely no one but he and his family realize the number of hours he had to commit to meetings, research, negotiations, and discussion with townspeople. And surely, whatever one’s views, no one can doubt his sincerity.
