Jeffrey A. Downer, of Brookhaven, Miss., and formerly of Newtown, passed away on July 24, 2019. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, to Thomas Downer, Jr, and Judith Adams Downer on October 15, 1965.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jeff graduated from Newtown High School, Class of 1983. He went on to graduate from Mississippi State with a Bachelors of Science, later earning his double Masters in Business and Finance.

He is survived by his two children, Caroline Downer and Miller Downer, both of Mississippi; his mother, Judith Downer, of Newtown; his two sisters, Tonya Downer Oberstadt of Newtown and Stacey Downer Abernathy of Oklahoma; his brother, Christopher Downer, of Alabama; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
