Patty Gillen McQuail Acquires Broker’s License

Patty Gillen McQuail, who currently maintains her real estate practice with Flagpole Realty, Inc, recently added a broker’s license to her credentials. She accomplished this by taking courses and passing the Connecticut State examination for her broker’s license.

 This achievement complements Patty’s ten years of experience in real estate profession. She started working in real estate at William Raveis, continued with Curtiss & Crandon, and presently has a flourishing career as an independent agent at Flagpole Realty, Inc.

Patty Gillen McQuail has an extensive network of contacts in Newtown, largely due to her active participation in the community. Patty and her husband Matt reside near the heart of Newtown with their two daughters, Keilly, a Newtown High School sophomore and Mallory, a graduate of Newtown High School currently attending the University of Delaware. Sammy and Peek-a-Boo, two of the most pampered dogs, complete the family.

Kevin’s Community Center has presented Patty Gillen McQuail with an award for her thoughtful and innovative support in both 2003 and 2004. She has pledged to donate $150 for each closing she completes, and has given more than $5,500 to the center as a result.

“I find real estate to be the most fascinating mix of puzzles,” she said. “I have lots of fun doing my job. It’s a constant challenge to assist clients in finding the home that fits their particular needs and it’s never dull!”
