‘Heaven & Earth:’ New Works By Alain Picard

NEW MILFORD — The Gregory James Gallery will feature new work by Alain Picard in an exhibition entitled “Heaven & Earth” at its location on the historic New Milford Green, 27 Main Street.

The public is invited for refreshments, live jazz, and to meet the artist at the opening reception on Saturday, September 18, from 5 to 7 pm. The exhibit runs through October 29.

The exhibit will feature more than 20 new paintings and drawings including many cloudscapes, paintings in oil, and new still life and figure paintings. The show’s title refers to Mr Picard’s attempt at conveying in paint his awe of the world around him. The show will also include new still life and figure paintings by Mr Picard.
