Frances Marie Rudy

Frances Marie (Ross) Rudy, 74, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Danbury, wife of the late Gene Rudy, died at her home on September 11.

Frances was born in Danbury August 28, 1930, daughter of the late John and Nellie (Marcella) Ross.

She is survived by her sisters, Marie Piskura of Newtown, Filomenia “Tootsie” Sostak of Shelton, Dorothy Owen of South Carolina, Ann Gankos of Florida, and Susan Gervasoni of Danbury; brothers, Joseph Ross and Robert Ross of Danbury and Carlo Ross of Rhode Island; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brothers, John, Michael and Anthony Ross, and a sister, Florence Arrigone.

She was a graduate of St Joseph School and Danbury High School.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Church in Danbury on Friday, September 17, at 10 am. Burial will be in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

There will be no calling hours.

Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
