CT Choral Society Invites Singers To Join
The Connecticut Choral Society (CCS), under the direction of John Robert Liepold, invites interested choral singers to join them for 2004-05, the groupâs 25th anniversary season.
CCS will perform a series of stunning works for multiple combinations of brass and vocal choirs in a gala program entitled  âFanfares,â on Sunday, December 12, at 4 pm, at First Congregational Church in Danbury. CCS will be joined by the groupâs founding conductor, Christopher Shay, and his Shepaug High School Chorus.
Mr Liepold is conductor of Grace Choral Society of Brooklyn, and a member of the board of The Dennis Keene Choral Festival. He is also director of concert operations for Mid America Productions in New York.
Rehearsals began September 13, but interested singers will be welcomed during the first few rehearsals of the season. The group meets on Monday nights from 7:15 until 9:45 pm at the parish house of First Congregational Church in South Britain, on Route 172 at East Flat Hill Road (about one-half mile from I-84 Exit 14).
Interested singers are invited to telephone 800-555-5250 to arrange for an audition or check www.CTChoralSociety.org for further information.
