Craftsmen Show For Burn Camp, Sept. 26
EASTON â The Easton Craftsmen Guild will introduce a new show and sale this autumn, with all proceeds to benefit The Connecticut Burn Camp for Children.
The First Annual Fine Artist & Demonstrating Craftsmen Show will be presented at Firemanâs Field on Sunday, September 26, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Visitors will see over 50 juried exhibitors, with over 20 live demonstrations of craftsmen showing their fine skills including weaving, pottery making, silversmithing, furniture making, sewing, broom making, wood carving, rug making and more.
The show will also include refreshments provided by The Pantry of Fairfield and live music throughout the day. There will also be an artisan raffle and for children, a puppet parade at noon is being planned.
Show coordinator Lee Skalkos said recently that the showâs goal is to make at least $2,000 for the burn camp.
