Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS) invites readers to join members of the local group for dinner, music and revelry during its Second Annual OktoberFest.

OktoberFest will return to NewSylum Brewing, 36 Keating Farms Avenue, on Wednesday, October 4, from 5 to 9 pm.

Rain date is Wednesday, October 11.

Tickets are $30 per person, which covers the catered dinner of chicken schnitzel, red cabbage, spatzle, dessert, and tip. Drinks can be purchased during the event, which will be outdoors under the brewery’s gazebo.

Live music will be performed by Solid Gold Times Two.

Tickets must be purchased by October 1. They will not be sold at the door, and refunds will not be issued.
