Good Spaying & Neutering Session
To the Editor,
The Spay and Neuter Association of Newtown, Inc (SNAN) a 501(c)(3) charity, would like to thank the volunteers who contributed to the success of the TEAM Mobile Cat Clinic held on September 13; 37 cats were spayed/neutered and vaccinated for rabies and distemper. Volunteers were Barbara Lynch in charge of scheduling appointments and check-in; Betty Warner, cashier; Richard Huisking, Linda and John Stott in charge of setting up shelters to hold the cats while they were waiting to be admitted to the clinic and assisting with the admission of the cats into the clinic and making sure they were returned to their rightful owners after their surgery. Ann Manley and Fran Frisina, emergency contacts. Gloria Ricco for her assistance at the end of the day.
We would also like to thank Mike Porco for the use of the parking lot on Glen Road to set up the clinic, and demitasse cafe for allowing the veterinarian and the vet techs the use of their facilities.
Also, The Newtown Bee for their assistance with our advertising.
The volunteers who work behind the scene with financing, the preparation and scheduling to ensure that everything went smoothly, we also thank you.
