CIP? BOE? BOF? HVAC? NHS Expansion? Do these things mean anything to you? You bet they do!

Come and learn about it at the next Board of Education (BOE) meeting Tuesday, September 20, at 7 pm. The meeting will be held at Reed Intermediate School in room 265 (in the front door and down to the right). Members of the Board of Finance (BOF) will review Newtown’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for the Board of Education.

This is an opportunity to educate ourselves about the financial realities we face in our growing town, realities with tremendous impact on us all.

Your attendance is a step toward being a more informed public — something I always think is good — a public that expects full disclosure, integrity, and well-informed decision-making at every turn.
