Colonial Fair & Muster Day Returning To The Hollow
WOODBURY â After a hiatus of one year, the Colonial Fair and Muster Day returns this weekend. The event, now in its tenth year, will feature skirmishing militias, musical entertainment, and rides in a horse-drawn wagonette.
The event will be on Sunday, September 18, from noon until 5 pm.
The Hurd House Museum and Glebe House Museum will be open for tours by costumed docents. who will shed light on the lives of people who lived in the area in the 1770s. Craftspeople will display their wares for sale and there will be many demonstrations of the crafts, skills, and practices of our forefathers and mothers.
The afternoon will include the Lebanon (Conn.) Militia and Brigadier-General Delanceyâs Brigade, Lancraft Fife & Drum Corps of North Haven, a puppet performance by Purple Rock Productions, and a vintage horse-drawn wagonette.
