By Far The Best

To the Editor:

I have been wanting to write a note to tell you on the great job that the Newtown Labor Day Committee and the town of Newtown does with the Labor Day Parade each and every year. I am a Shriner Klown from Milford. We have done parades all over the Northeast; some cities have great crowds also, but you have a way of brining out a major amount of spectators who by the way are by far the best in the East. They are respectful to the parade participants and recognize each and every unit with cheers and applause.

We work hard to perform properly and most units are charitable organizations so we do like the attention. You always have good control for the lineup of units and good crowd control and great staff on the streets. The judging stand is absolutely the best with the introductions. We look forward to going back.
