Vacancy On ETH Board

Due to the fact that Marie Sturdevant and her husband Richard have moved to Brookfield, there is a vacancy on the Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers, a position Ms Sturdevant has held for many years.

Any Republican resident of Newtown who is interested in filling her seat should contact Barbara O’Connor, chairman pro tem of the Republican Town Committee Candidates Committee, at 426-1515; RTC Chairman Carol Recht at 426-2701, or any member of the town committee. The town committee’s recommendation then will be given to the Board of Town Hall Managers who, by charter, can choose the person for a vacancy in midterm.
