 THE PRESERVATION HALL JAZZ BAND will be in Newtown on Thursday, October 6. Donât wait to buy tickets â this show is just three weeks away.
 Tickets are $30 and on sale now at the town hallâs box office and the Board of Managerâs office, as well as at C.H. Booth Library and Newtown Savings Bank. Want more information? Call the ETH Board of Managerâs office, 270-4285.
 *Hot Hot Heat will be opening for FOO FIGHTERS and WEEZER when those bands co-headline next month at The Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. The show has been set for Tuesday, October 11.
Tickets will be on sale Saturday morning at 11 am (note thatâs 11, not the normal 10 am on-sale time) and have been set at $42.50 for all seats. Sales will be handled at the arenaâs box office as well as TicketMaster locations. General admission floor and reserved arena seating will be available.
 *Mohegan Sun has added shows to its schedule, starting with DEF LEPPARD and BRYAN ADAMS on Monday, October 17. Tickets, are $40 and $60, will be on sale Saturday morning.
 CHICAGO will be in Uncasville on Sunday, November 13. That show is already on sale, with tickets are $35.25 and $45.25.
 An AEROSMITH-LENNY KRAVITZ bill will also be coming to Mohegan Sun Arena. The arena hasnât yet announced the date of the show, although itâs listed between the Terri Clark and Trace Adkins concert on October 27 and the AKC dog show the weekend of November 5-6. Expect the show, therefore, any time between October 28 and November 4, and for tickets to be on sale any time now.
 *Tickets for the MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE show at Connecticut Expo Center next month are going on sale this weekend. The show will be on Sunday, October 16, at 6 pm, and tickets will be available as of 10 am on Saturday, September 17, at 10 am.
 All tickets are $19.99 and will be available through TicketMaster online and call-in centers as well as at www.JimKolikPresents.com.
 Alkaline Trio, Reggie and The Full Effect will all have opening sets. Doors will open at 6 pm.
