‘Low And No-Cost Energy Saving Program’ Lunch & Learn Planned

The public is invited to join Newtown Sustainable Energy Commission, Eversource, CT Green Bank and the Newtown Economic & Development Department for a free Lunch & Learn program that will cover low and no-cost energy saving programs for businesses.

The special event is planned for Wednesday, October 9, 11:30 am to 1 pm, at Newtown Community Center, 8 Simpson Street.

Attendees will hear from local businesses and organizations already saving money through the programs; an approved local vendor (ELC) who will handle a free business energy assessment; Eversource and CT Green Bank about low and no-cost programs, services and savings opportunities available to businesses; and how Newtown Sustainable Energy Commission and ECD Office can help.

Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided.

Registration is requested and available via email to Director of Economic and Community Development John Voket at john.voket@newtown-ct.gov.
