Newtown Author Reading Series To Conclude With Conversation Starter
The next program in the Newtown Authors Reading Series, a collaborative effort between Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS), CT Humanities (CTH) and C.H. Booth Library, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, from 5 to 7 pm.
John Boccuzzi, Sr will be the featured guest this month. He will offer a program focused on his book, One God, One Goal.
Published in 2013, the book is “meant to explore the similarities in the various major religions,” the author told The Newtown Bee this week.
“My goal was for it to be a good starting point for conversations about religion,” Boccuzzi added.
Registration is requested and available by calling 203-426-4533 or visiting chboothlibrary.org.
Next week’s program is the eighth and final in a series that has featured local authors offering readings and discussions on a monthly basis since mid-February.
The series was curated by Friends of Newtown Seniors (FONS) and C.H. Booth Library, thanks to a grant from CT Humanities.
