Please join me in re-electing Dr Chaudhary as police commissioner this November.

Fellow Newtown residents, I’ve known Dr Neil Chaudhary for several years. Neil has proven to be an effective leader, knowledgeable, and trustworthy member of the Police Commission.

I can attest to the care and respect he has for the men and women of the Newtown Police Department. Neil also cares about the next generation of town leaders: I was fortunate to have Neil’s guidance when I ran for a town position for the first time. Neil’s understanding of the town management and its processes was impressive. It was great to have his support.

When he first became a Police Commissioner almost four years ago, I was happy for him and for the town because of the expertise and leadership Neil brought to the town. His expertise is sought after across the country and internationally, and he regularly presents to law enforcement agencies. Our town is fortunate to have a police commissioner who is such a recognized expert.

Neil’s dedication to the town and his experience working with law enforcement proved to be a boon to the community.

As Neil told me he was running for re-election, despite all he had been through during the pandemic, I was reminded of his dedication to the town. I’m proud to support Neil for re-election to the Police Commission based on his competence, law enforcement dedication, resilience, and commitment to the town.

Let’s join forces to support Dr Chaudhary on November 7.
