Mrs Lil Martenson, Mrs Petrice DiVanno, Mr Richard Neeb and myself would like to say “thanks” to all our students and parents who helped to make our “Pushcart Day” a huge success last June. The students and teachers of Reed Intermediate who happily bought their items from 5 cents to $2 from the students’ pushcarts; that’s three hours of shopping!

We amazingly raised $2,600. The students determined what charities they wanted to evenly give their monies to. They donated to Kevin’s Community Center, Danbury Women’s Shelter, Autism Speaks, Relay For Life, and our own “Everyday Hero,” Ms King, for her eye clinic in Liberia.  All these donations were from the hearts of our students, made with care, and were sold with lots of enthusiasm!  We want to give you our special thanks, and also wish you an awesome beginning to your seventh grade experience.

Warm Regards,

Valerie Pagano Hepburn
