‘Evening With

Billy Fellows’ Will Offer Cabaret, Comedy

Newtown Scholarship Association (NSA) will host “An Evening with Billy Fellows,” a special benefit event for NSA during its 75th anniversary year.

The cabaret and pasta dinner event will take place on Thursday, September 20, in The Alexandria Room at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. The pasta dinner will begin at 6:30 pm, with entertainment following at 7:30. Guests are welcome to BYOB.

Tickets are $45 and are available at The Newtown Bee office, 5 Church Hill Road.

Billy Fellows (pictured) has covered all of the bases: writer, composer and entertainer, appearing on television, radio and recordings. After 59 years, he still has a full dance card: corporate appearances, major cruise lines, and a pending Broadway show as a totally original artist.

Mr Fellows has resided in Newtown over 40 years.

“Newtown is a great town. I raised my family here, we just love it,” stated Mr Fellows. “It’s a special evening when I get a chance to perform in my hometown.”

Mr Fellows has arranged a special guest appearance Steve Bruner, a fellow comedian and comic writer. Mr Bruner has done some writing for Jay Leno and The Tonight Show.

For more information call 203-313-9072. All proceeds will benefit NSA, which was established in 1937 to promote the education of students in Newtown. Since its founding, NSA has awarded over $3 million in need-based scholarships, enabling hundred of students from Newtown to fulfill their dreams in the pursuit of a higher education.
