Ethan Burg

Burg, a Newtown High School freshman, was the first Newtown resident and second overall finisher of the 7th Annual Newtown Road Race on September 1. He ran the race in a time of 18:46. Burg picked up running in the Newtown Hawks Youth Track Program as a fourth-grader.

Favorite part about running: “It’s fun.”

Toughest aspect: “Starting a run.”

Favorite subject: Social Studies.

On the tube: Breaking Bad.

Dream job: “Something involving running.”
