Grand Opening Going Extreme

Nick’s Roofing and Siding in Oxford is hosting an Extreme Grand Opening Celebration, Saturday September 15 from 11 am to 6 pm.  A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10 am with Oxford Town Selectman August Palmer and  Nick Lampronikos, owner of Nick’s Roofing & Siding.

Nick’s Roofing and Siding recently volunteered for the Extreme Home Makeover Edition in Bridgeport. Mr Lampronikos’ crew worked full time on the Extreme jobsite, and Mr Lampronikos put in more than 80 hours throughout the build.

He also supplied the gutters and other materials for the “dream home.”  

“If I can do it, I like to volunteer my services,” Mr Lampronikos said. “It’s important to give back to the community.”  

Nick’s Roofing and Siding has also donated the materials and labor for the roof at the Connecticut State Police Barracks in Oxford as well as the gazebo at Oxford City Hall.

The Extreme Grand Opening includes Hummel Hotdogs right from the cart, games, a dunk tank, Moon Bounce, a live band all day, and radio station Star 99.9 FM on site from noon to 2 pm with prizes.

Mr Lampronikos invites anyone to bring a photo of their roof to enter the “Ugliest Roof” Contest, where the winner will receive an “Extreme” Roof Makeover.
