Work Camp Info Session Sunday

Work camp is a youth mission trip sponsored by St Rose and Newtown Congregational churches. Any teen in ninth through twelve grades is eligible to attend. Teens will fundraise and attend social events throughout the year to finance the bus trip in July to Wilmington, N.C.

Work camp efforts culminate with a weeklong venture incorporating community service by construction crews and adventures with peers from many states across the United States. The Workcamp Foundation organizes the jobsites, programs, and accommodations.

Anyone interested in learning about Work Camp 2008 is invited to attend a special meeting at Newtown Congregational Church on Sunday, September 16, from 1 to 3 pm.
