CL&P and Yankee Gas customer service representatives will also be available to assist customers with e-billing, budget billing, energy assistance, and additional services.

The CEEF was created by the Connecticut legislature to promote efficient energy use, help residents and businesses save on their electric bills, advance economic development, reduce electric demand and help reduce air pollution. CL&P and United Illuminating administer the CEEF through conservation programs that serve residential customers, including low- and fixed-income customers, as well as business and municipal customers.
Connecticutâs energy-efficiency programs are funded by the conservation charge on customer electric bills. At this time, funds for gas conservation are built into natural gas base rates.
