Admirals Drop Two

The Bethel Admirals dropped a season-opening doubleheader to the New York Cyclones, 4-2 and 11-1, in the Hudson Valley Wood Bat League.

Clay Caron allowed two earned runs over 5.3 innings in the opener as Ken Bardelli, Adam Geriak, and Lou Pepe all went 2-for-3.

In the second game, Caron was 2-for-3 while Walt Murphy, Bardelli, Rob Blanc and Kyle Kromberg had the other Bethel hits.
