Occupation: Financial Advisor, AAMS, with Edward Jones. I help people understand their money and how it affects their life. I believe that money is only a tool to help us get through difficult situations and there for us to enjoy the good times. Budgeting, saving, and investing are the mechanics of what I teach.

Family: My husband of 18 years, Victor; my brothers Tony and Phil, and my wonderful in-laws.

Do you have any pets? Not currently but we love dogs!

How long have you lived/worked in Newtown? I have worked in Newtown for five years.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy weight training, fishing with my husband, attending classic car shows, and love listening to music, especially from the 50s and 60s

What is your favorite book? A childhood favorite, Anne of Green Gables, a novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose and why? It’s the person I get to spend my days with now, my husband Victor.

Who is your favorite musical artist? My favorite band of all time is the Monkees! My obsession for them started in 1986 at the age of 11. I love the music, innocence, and the joy it brings me. Davy Jones was my favorite and I recently met Micky Dolenz for the first time.

What is the greatest piece of advice you have ever been given? “Enjoy life but don’t forget to save for a rainy day.”

What is something you cannot live without? Weight training and eating chocolate.

What is your proudest accomplishment? Working hard to becoming physically fit.

What is your favorite travel destination? The beach.

What is the best part about Newtown? The wonderful people and the classic New England architecture. I give workshops at the Newtown Senior Center on a regular basis and the seniors and staff are a joy to interact with. The Newtown Senior Center is a gem in Newtown!
