Womenâs Financial Information Program
NEW MILFORD â A six-week Womenâs Financial Information Program, co-sponsored by the University of Connecticut Cooperative Extension System, the American Association of Retired Persons, and the New Milford Senior Center, will be held at the senior center from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesdays beginning October 10.
The workshop is designed to enable women to take charge of their finances through confident financial management decision making. Topics covered include record keeping, money management, banking, insurance, investment, financial planning issues, and estate planning.
The Womenâs Financial Information Program will feature a talk by a financial expert followed by small group workshops with a trained facilitator. The program will be held at the senior center located at 40 Main Street in New Milford.
