To the Editor:

Many thanks to the community for their support of our Native Plant Sale, held this past Saturday, making our first annual Sale a huge success. We would also like to extend our appreciation to The Newtown Bee for the terrific article covering the event and to the Booth Library for graciously allowing us to set up on the library lawn.

We also want to recognize donations to our raffle from Earth Tones Native Plant Nursery for an Elderberry shrub and to Eco 59 for a gift certificate. Tiny Meadow Farm also donated of seeds for our seed packet giveaway.

Protect Our Pollinators is a Newtown-based nonprofit organization that seeks to bring awareness of our threatened pollinators. This fundraiser helps us continue our outreach efforts.
