Women’s Center Plans Programs

DANBURY — September workshops at the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury include Hatha yoga and weight management.

A Hatha Yoga Series, presented by seasoned yoga instructor Suzen Pettit, will be conducted on five Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm beginning September 17. Hatha Yoga combines the breathing and meditation of traditional yoga with stretching and more physical exercises.

A “Creating the Lean & Healthy Body” workshop will be held Tuesday, September 23 from 6:30 to 9 pm. This hands-on, practical weight management program will be conducted by certified lifestyle and weight management consultant Stravos Mastrogiannis.

These evening programs will be held in the Women’s Center’s second floor Community Room at 2 West Street. Call 731-5200 to register.
