WIB Conference Set For Oct 6

WATERBURY — “Breaking New Ground” will be the theme of this year’s Business Women’s Forum (BWF) Annual Women In Business Conference scheduled for Friday, October 6, from 8 am to 5 pm, at the Waterbury Sheraton.

This year’s conference list of speakers includes “The Nostradamus of Marketing,” Faith Popcorn; award-winning news co-anchor Jack Ford; and psychosexual therapist, Dr Ruth Westheimer.

Co-sponsors of the event are the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc., Teikyo Post University, and the US Small Business Administration.

One of the mainstays of the conference is the relevant and informative workshops offered to conference attendees. This year two additional workshops have been added bringing the total to twelve. The workshop topics include: Leadership Skills for Women; Innovative Management; Starting a Home Business; Personal Protection Awareness; Coaching for Break Through Performance, and much more.

The conference registration fee is $115 and includes lunch and a reception immediately following the conference. Many prizes will be raffled off during the reception.
