NEWTOWN GLADIATORS 8, BETHEL 2: Cole Depuy doubled twice while Garrett Uhde and TJ Faeth each drove in runs to lead the Gladiators to the win. Maxwell Muraskiewicz pitched a no-hitter through six innings, whiffing 18 batters, while Ralph Sergiovanni did a solid job behind the plate.
GLADIATORS 17, DANBURY_6:_Ralph Sergiovanni whiffed seven batters over four innings while Cole Depuy and Garrett Uhde led the offense with three hits apiece as the Gladiators stormed past Danbury. Daniel Greenwood made a great catch in rightfield to save a couple of runs. Zach Gordon was strong at first base.
BETHEL 14, NEWTOWN NIGHTHAWKS 6: Tommy Merrifield, Joe Fedak and Chris Marks had several hits each for the Nighthawks. Vincent DeAngelis was strong behind the plate while Robert Brautigam and Kevin Bonacci pitched well. Chris Murphy played well in right field.
NEWTOWN NIGHTHAWKS 23, BROOKFIELD 21: David Bray belted a home run while Douglas Kissack, Ricky Camejo, and Tucker Schmidt combined for several hits in this slugfest. Michael Coates pitched two strong innings, John Aminti played well behind the plate, and Ryan Murphy was a defensive force at second base.
