On Saturday, September 13, Newtown Congregational Church will conduct its second annual shrimp boil. The fundraiser for Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Miss., is open to the public.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for guests 14 and under, and cover a full boiled shrimp or BBQ chicken dinner with sides, desserts, and soft drinks. Guests will feel as if they are down on the Gulf as piles of shrimp shells grow on newspaper-covered tables and conversation fills the room.

Dinner will be served at 6:30, and a program about Back Bay will be presented at 7:30. NCC has been an active sponsor and participant of Back Bay Mission and its work for a number of years.
