BROOKLYN, N.Y. â The Brooklyn Museum will present a Caribbean film series on Sundays, October 14â28, at 2 and 3 pm.
Explore the diverse cultures of the Caribbean through films by writers, actors and directors from different regions. Included are Alea and TabÃoâs Guantanamera, a romantic comedy set in Cuba; Howard and Mitzi Allenâs No Seed, an Antiguan story of power and superstition; and Heading South by Laurent Cantet, a provocative film about wealthy American women who search for physical and emotional comfort in Haiti.
