In Memorian

Robert V. Caterson

On your forth year

in heaven.

As I look up into heaven, I see the color that God gave to you in your eyes.

I was blessed to know you, and for those years we spent together.

To know you, love you, and to be awoken up in your arms.

I remember your laughter; it still rings in my heart.

The way you held me when I cried, the strong but gentle arms that held me close.

You had such a gentle way about you, never an ill word came from your heart.

I remember the way children flocked to you, they saw the child in your soul.

A gift only a few chosen had, a gift from God himself.

My only regret, we could not had more time.

Time to talk, to laugh, and to hold one another.

I remember waking one night, I noticed you watching me sleep.

And in the morning tangle in each other’s arms, what a great feeling.

When I sleep now at night, I feel your presence with me.

I feel the subtlety of an impression as I go to dream land.

Watching me as I sleep as you did before.

Thank you for always watching over me and loving me the way you did.

As my days drift into one another, not one goes by that I do not think of you.

Love you as I always did and still do, I might not understand why and what happened

That made you leave us, even in death the circle can not be broken.

For I know we will meet again, in life after death.

I pray that you are flying in peace, letting your wings take you to heights.

That you had always dreamt of, and to know that one day we shall meet again.

Sadly missed by

Your Loving Wife
