CURRIER MUSEUM WILL CELEBRATE NATIONAL MUSEUM DAY SEPT. 29

MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Currier Museum of Art will celebrate National Museum Day on Saturday, September 29, 10 to 3:30, at Currier Downtown, 52 Hanover Street.

Activities and tours are free for the day and include hands-on art activities, tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Zimmerman House. Tours are first-come, first-serve and depart from Currier Downtown at the 11 am, 12:30 pm, 2 pm and 3:30 pm.

Other local organizations participating in National Museum Day include Amoskeag Fishways, the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, the Millyard Museum, the Franco-American Centre, the Lawrence L. Lee Scouting Museum and the SEE Science Center.
