BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Brooklyn Museum will present a film and discussion on the film, Winslow Homer: Society and Solitude, on Sunday, September 23, from 2 to 4 pm

Award-winning writer, producer and director Steven John Ross introduces his new documentary about the great American artist. A discussion with Terry Carbone, curator of the special exhibition, “Brushed with Light: American Landscape Watercolors from the Collection,” follows.

Films are free with museum admission. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of screening. Brooklyn Museum is at 200 Eastern Parkway. For information, 718-638-5000 or www.brooklynmuseum.org.
