Business Building Workshop

 At BPW On Sept. 13

The Newtown Business and Professional Women’s Club will kickoff its new season with two dynamic speakers at the Monday, September 13, meeting.  The meeting is open to the public as well as BPW members. 

Angeles Glick will speak of her organization, Healing the Children. She will enlighten the audience as to how she started her foundation and give information on its cause.

 Erik Swanson, a representative from Brian Tracy Programs, will be the evening’s second speaker.  He will conduct a business-building workshop that will show how to improve on time management, prospecting, and getting referrals, as well as uncovering clients needs and wants. He also will teach presentation and other skills. Brian Tracy is a leading authority on the development of human potential and personal effectiveness.

The meeting will be held at the Fireside Inn, 123 South Main Street.  Networking begins at 6 pm,  dinner will be at 6:30 and will be a buffet.  Reservations should be made by Friday, September 10, by calling Kelly Urso at 364-1667.  The cost for the dinner and program will be $25. 

The Newtown Business and Professional Women’s Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking.  The club sponsors scholarships to help women who are changing or advancing their careers.  For membership information contact Margot Hall at 426-9101.
