Military History Book Group

DANBURY — Barnes & Noble Booksellers is starting a Military History Book Discussion Group that will meet on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. Topics will vary widely and will include both fiction and non-fiction, with books about wars during different periods in history being covered.

Band of Brothers, Stephen Ambrose’s account of the men of Easy Company who fought during a number of crucial battles in World War II, will be the first book of the series. The group will have its first meeting on Monday, September 24. This book is the one the current ten-part HBO miniseries is based on.
